Suzie Hacker has been a Licensed Master of Social Worker since 1995. She has a master’s degree in social work from Washington University in Saint Louis and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Tulane University. Suzie has experience working with children, pre-school through middle school, and their families. She has worked in a variety of family social service agencies in Austin, Houston and Dallas.  Through Jewish Family Services of Dallas, Suzie has worked as an in-house school social worker/counselor for several private schools in the Dallas area.  Suzie currently splits her time between private practice and working as a middle school counselor for a local private school.   Suzie works in a solution focused model, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other best practices.  She manages a variety of concerns, specializing in anxiety, ADHD. school difficulties, social difficulties, emotional regulation, and parent-child conflict.  Suzie integrates the family system as part of her therapy and feels passionately about helping children and their families achieve their goals, providing them practical tools for success.
