Dysautonomia is general term used to describe disorders of the autonomic nervous system (ANS), the part of our body that controls involuntary functions such as heart rate, blood pressure, and body temperature. The severity and types of symptoms can vary widely and may include things like extreme fatigue, lightheadedness, fainting, gastrointestinal problems, and cloudy thinking (“brain fog”).
