Marina is a registered dietitian working in an outpatient facility treating adolescents, adults and families affected by eating disorders. Marina received her bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition from Sacramento State University and completed her dietetic internship in Napa State Hospital. She has experience in outpatient nutrition counseling, clinical psychiatric dietetics and community nutrition. As a registered dietitian, she works with patients and their families in order to help them reclaim their mind-body-food connection and begin to enjoy eating a variety of foods. Her motto is to “change the way you think about food.” She is most passionate about helping others find their peace with food, appreciate their bodies and begin to enjoy their lives in the community. Marina loves to find creative ways to educate patients and make her sessions impactful as well as interactive for her patients. She utilizes and promotes the Health at Every Size ® (HAES ®) principle, as well as Intuitive Eating principles.
