Hello! My name is Desiree. Life can get tough and throw some curveballs that you are not ready to catch. When that happens, I am here for you! Even at a young age, I was always an advocate for therapy. I am equipped to provide services to a wide variety of populations across different ages, backgrounds, and with all stages of life! As a social worker, I bring 8 years of experience in working in social services with the homeless, refugees, veterans, foster children, and youth who are in juvenile justice programs. Most recently I have been gaining clinical experience through working with hospice and geriatric patients in a long-term care setting. I have experience conducting group therapy with teens and their families as well as mentoring young girls in health, education, and independence.  I earned my Bachelor’s and Masters of Social Work with a focus on children and families from the University of Texas at Arlington.

I’m married and the parent to two amazing girls. Family time is my favorite time and I find great happiness in watching my children grow and thrive. My goal is to give my children and others a healthy and strong foundation to follow. I enjoy spending time with friends, traveling, and fostering rescue dogs!

Desi’s Fee is $130 per 50 minute session, and offers need based sliding scale on a limited basis.
