Danielle Polland, MSSW, LCSW

Danielle earned her Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University with a major in clinical psychology. While in her undergraduate studies, Danielle completed research and clinical work with adolescents with eating disorders and social anxiety. Danielle then received her Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University. Danielle has worked at multiple levels of care including partial hospitalization programs and intensive outpatient programs that focused on eating disorders, body image distress, obsessive compulsive disorders, phobias, and mood and anxiety disorders. Danielle feels passionately about working with kids (as young as 10), adolescents, and young adults, and she often utilizes CBT, ERP, DBT, and ACT while providing care.

Danielle feels that it is important to connect with your therapist, so she works to build a trusting relationship and listens to your goals to help you reach them. Danielle provides a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and can also be challenged to learn new skills. Danielle practices from a gender-affirming and trauma informed lens, and she hopes to be a kind guide along your therapy journey.
