Dr. Rebecca Prengler is a pediatrician with Girls to Women/Young Men’s Health and Wellness. A native of Dallas, she graduated from J.J. Pearce High School and received her B.A. in psychology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Prengler attended medical school at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. After receiving her degree, she completed her pediatrics residency training and one year of pediatric rheumatology fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She holds membership in the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine.
Dr. Prengler and her husband are excited to be back in Dallas, where their families also reside. She is passionate about providing comprehensive care for adolescents that meets their medical and emotional needs. Her special interests include preventative medicine, working with teens and young adults with chronic illness, reproductive health, and patient education. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, listening to music, and spending time with family, friends, and her Corgi pup, Zoe.
