Miki Johnston graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work. With more than 20 years of experience, Miki has worked as a therapist, clinical consultant, and public speaker in a variety of settings with diverse populations. She currently speaks in public and private schools and community groups on topics such as, but not limited to: social media, healthy teen relationships, teen dating violence, stress management, the parent-child relationship, resilience, and adolescent development. In her private practice she treats women and teens struggling with many of the issues mentioned above with a focus on relationships, enhancing communication, stress management and parent – child conflicts. Miki has post graduate training at the Dallas Psychoanalytic Center.
